How to download samples?

If you've ordered one or more of the sample CDs you can download the samples in 2 ways: as bulk samples or DirectWave programs. Follow the instructions below, depending on what you want to download and where you want to use them.
1. Bulk Samples
These are copies of the actual CDs and are downloadable from your personal 'my account' page under the tab 'my licenses'. Not all CDs are available as bulk samples, however.
Download the bulk file using the button:- Go to the Sample CD details page under the tab 'my licenses'.
- Run the flregkey.reg file (if not done so before)
- Click the button "click here to download this product"
- A window opens with a list, at the bottom of the list there is a link to download "Download all items from -name of CD- Sample CD"
Attention!!
- when the download opens, choose "open with" where the program to open the content is the IL Downloader.
- if needed browse to the IL Downloader .exe location to connect this file type to it. You normally find IL Downloader installed at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\Downloader\ILDownloadManager.exe - wait for the content to download
- the IL Downloader will start and write the content to the correct directory for use in FL Studio, or in the plugin the content is intended for.
2. DirectWave programs in FL Studio
These are structured patches using the samples from the CDs*.
Get & Install the newest updated DirectWave downloader from your user account page. It can be found in the "Content library" product.
Start FL Studio
- [STEP 1] Go to Channels > Add one > DirectWave
(it doesn't matter if you are using a registered version or demo version)
- [STEP 2] Hit the SAMPLEFUSION (Select Preset) button.
The download selector will now pop-up.
First hit the 'Options' button and select "Update all list files" to make sure it's up-to-date.
You'll see the downloadable files listed in the Online section & you can access all individual
patches that belong to that CD.
- [STEP 3] Select an item and click the Download button to start downloading
(your download will be listed in the download manager pop-up window)
* not all sample content includes these DirectWave patches. If no patches are available you will receive an error message in DirectWave when loading the sample content
3. DirectWave programs with another host
If you don't have FL Studio, you can use the VSTi version of DirectWave to download the samples. It doesn't matter if you are using a registered version or demo version, but you do have to download and run your regcode from the user account page to register the downloader itself.
- Get and install the latest version of DirectWave VSTi at:

Get & Install the newest updated DirectWave downloader from your user account page. It can be found in the "Content library" product. Start your host program
- [STEP 1] Add an instance of DirectWave
- [STEP 2] Hit the SAMPLEFUSION (Select Preset) button.
The download selector will now pop-up.
First hit the 'Options' button and select "Update all list files" to make sure it's up-to-date.
You'll see the downloadable files listed in the Online section & you can access all individual
patches that belong to that CD.
- [STEP 3] Select an item and click the Download button to start downloading
(your download will be listed in the download manager pop-up window)
4. Downloading in MacOS X
Some sample CDs can be downloaded from your user account page, as explained under "1. Bulk samples".
However, the new sample cd's don't have this possibility. To download these, you can use the Download Manager program:
- Open the program IL Download Manager from your Applications folder.
- Go to the Options tab.
- Click the button "Show content library".
- Choose the items you want to download from the Online section on the right side.
If you don't have the IL Download Manager installed, you can download it from your user account page. It can be found under My Licenses > Content Library.
