Removing Trial Plugins

The FL Studio installer is provided as a single installer for all Editions/Bundles. The FL Studio installer includes all plugins, with the exception of Flowstone/Synthmaker and the VSTi/AU versions of the plugins. Depending on your version of FL Studio, some plugins may only be available as trials after you've registered FL Studio. More information can be found in 'My Plugins are in demo mode! Not all plugins included in my software.'.

The Feature Comparison Page can be used as an overview for determining what plugins are included with each version of FL Studio.

To remove these demo plugins from your Channel list, FX Slot options, Plugin Picker, and the Plugin Database you can do the following:

  1. From the FL Studio Browser navigate to the Plugin database.
  2. Select the 'Plugin database > Generators' or 'Plugin database > Effects' folder.
  3. Locate and right-click the plugin entry for the demo plugin you'd like to remove and select 'Delete'.
  4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to remove the remaining demo Generators and Effects plugins.

Note: Following the above steps will not delete the plugins themselves, this simply removes the channel preset for the plugin. If you upgrade your version of FL Studio or purchase any of the current demo plugins, you can still access and recover them from your 'Plugin database > Installed > Generators > Fruity' or 'Plugin database > Installed > Effects > Fruity' folders in the FL Studio Browser.
