Problem
When running the FLRegkey.Reg file you get the error message:

"File in use by other program"

And this error is given when no other programs are running on your pc.

Test procedure
It is not an FL Studio error, but a Windows error.

First check if you can start the regedit.exe - Windows registry program manually:

1. Go to the Windows Start menu
2. Choose Run...
3. In the Open field, type Regedit.exe and click the 'OK' button
4. Normally Regedit program (registry editor) should start. If you are using Vista or Windows 7 you may first get a warning message asking your permission to continue (click yes).

If you receive the error message "File in use by other program" after step 3, your computer probably has a virus/spyware application that is preventing access to the Windows registry with regedit.exe.

Solution
Please do a thorough virus and spyware scan on your pc. Remove any application that is indicated as a virus, spyware or suspicious program.

Rerun the FLRegkey.Reg file, and it should be added to the Windows registry.
