Getting Started

These are instructions for the FL Studio native macOS (BETA). The FL Studio Mac OS X BETA (Crossover Wrapped) is discontinued, more info can be found on our forum.

You must own an official FL Studio license in order to unlock and register the native macOS version of FL Studio.

Install and Register

A link to download the latest installer can be found on the FL Studio Windows vs Mac Comparison page.

Open the About Panel from '? > About' at the top left of the Main Panel of the Toolbar. Enter your Image-Line account email + password then click Unlock (the same login details you use to access the forum and website).

Unlock FL Studio by saving your 'FLRegkey.Reg' file to ../Users/[your user folder]/Library/Preferences/Image-Line. The Library folder is hidden by default in the Finder (you have to right click the user folder, click 'presentation options' and select 'show library folder'). You may need to create the Image-Line destination folder.

Note for FL Studio box users:

The FL Studio native macOS (BETA) requires that you own an FL Studio 10 or higher license in order to register. If you have an older FL Studio box license you can upgrade your license for access to 'Lifetime Free Updates'.
