Yes.

This process is only necessary if Windows does not automatically recognise .Reg files (the regkey file type), normally double click FLRegkey.Reg OR right-click and select 'Merge' to install.

Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your FLRegkey.Reg file is saved on your hard disk (where you can find it).
  2. Click on the Windows Start menu button.
  3. Choose the Run option.
  4. Click in the text entry field and type Regedit.exe and click the 'OK' button or press enter on your keyboard. You will have to tell a windows security pop-up that, yes you do want to continue and edit the registry. The Regedit program will then start. If you get a 'File in use by other program' error see here.
  5. From the registry editor File menu choose Import. This will open a Windows file browser.
  6. Locate the FLRegkey.Reg file on your hard disk and select it.
  7. Click the Open button.
The message: "the data in (your flregkey.reg file path on your hard disk flregkey.reg) are added to your Windows registry" will appear.
  8. Click 'OK' and your FL Studio program will be unlocked/registered.

See this Knowledge Base article for a pictorial Step-By-Step tutorial on installing your registration code.

When you install the latest FL Studio demo version on your PC it should then be unlocked/registered.
