I am not finished testing all plugins, but so far it seems to happen with all VST3 plugins, when loaded into the mixer slot ONE in the master mixer channel ...
I recognized that the VST2 version ...
Adding VST3 plugins after 12.3 update fails in projects originally started in FL 12.2 that have VST3 plugins already loaded.

This is solved by re-saving the project under 12.3 then re-opening project. ...
