serious recording while mobile unless I actually had my audio interface with me.
My question is what PC laptops have decent built in soundcards? Or is a Macbook Pro just the way to go for maximum portability and power?

recommendations for a better one? It wouldn't necessarily have to be too portable, I just want something that means I can use this laptop as my studio while I'm away from my desktop.
