well ... is there a global switch or setting in FLstudio to activate this mechanism or scale behavior, which I haven't at my disposal in Ableton and hence I am "out of feature" < > < > ???

account priviledges in every directory I can think of (Program Files, 86), my 32- and 64-bit VST folders, etc. etc. etc. I even uninstalled FLStudio 11 and reinstalled from scratch, and it still won't work.
Any ideas? ...
