forum disk forever, and was surprised when I was able to successfully "locate sample in browser" and then delete it from there while the project was open (which FL Studio should be able to do properly by the way). ...
forum solve the problem I used audition to interpet the file as 48k, save as new wav, import in FL and tune up the pianoroll 1 octave.
