I recently updated FL and before it had no issues loading them up.
I did, however, move everything (plugins) to the VST folder for FL.
Maybe that has something to do with it??

forum last resort, is there anyway to ensure my FL setup will be exactly the same? Like how do you backup all of FL studio to prepare for moving to a new computer for example?
