in 2013, I bought FL studio 11 for my son. He now has a new computer. How can I reinstall fl studio on his new computer?

forum running FL 11 on my laptop since 2013.
I now want to install FL 12 on my new laptop and load my old FL 11 files to this computer as well.

forum fl 12.4.1 and thought i'd post my concern before installing. But i didnt and now it happened again.
Everytime im about ot install a new version of fl studio it fucks up the settings of all my fl studio ...
forum info box still says 20.0.5. build 674
This is not good, i dont know which is installed now.
Had to remove complete FL Studio Folder and then install 20.0.4
Info now shows correct version.
Please fix this else one gets confused. ...
