FL 12.4.1 won't start/stop (space bar) when a vst plugin is focused, after I tweaked a knob. When I do nothing and only focus on a vst there's nothing wrong.

account priviledges in every directory I can think of (Program Files, 86), my 32- and 64-bit VST folders, etc. etc. etc. I even uninstalled FLStudio 11 and reinstalled from scratch, and it still won't work.
