vst X vst's X won't X when X Clear ALL X

VST's won't render feedback when open, only when fl is click
feedback when opened in fl. i can hear sound from it when i click on fl or the title bar but once i click anywhere in the area where the knobs and switches are the sound cuts off. any help? ...
