The LAME MP3 Encoder

LAME is a high quality algorithm that compresses audio to the MP3 format. It is definitely not 'lame' as the name suggests :)

LAME was written by Mike Cheng & Mark Taylor. The DLL used in was written by Albert Faber, based on the original BladeEnc DLL interface written by Tord Jansson.

LAME is distributed under the GNU General Public License (see ..\FL Studio\System\Legal\LAME MP3 encoder\LGPL.txt in the FL Studio folder for details).

You can find more info on LAME at http://lame.sourceforge.net/

Note: The MP3 standard ONLY supports 44.1 or 48 kHz sample rates.
