Since handling credit card transactions is a specialised process we use third party payment partners in our webshop to handle these payments (e.g. PayPal, Verifone (2Checkout)).

At the end of the checkout procedure, we transfer you to one of our third party payment partners where you will enter your credit card information. Sometimes a credit card gets declined by one of our third party payment partners.

The problem is that we have no idea or information on why the transaction was declined. Our payment partner makes this decision without our involvement.

So what can you do?

Please check with your credit card company if your credit card is allowed:

- to be used for internet payments.
- to make overseas payments (to the Netherlands / Europe)

  1. Try to choose for another payment option in the checkout section of our webshop. eg. if you want to pay with credit card, select the PayPal payment option. At PayPal you can pay with credit card without having to create a PayPal user account (see what to do here). Sometimes another payment partner will accept your credit card.

  2. If this doesn't work, try a different credit card (if you have this available). Or you could ask your friends/family to order this for you (and pay them back of course :-).

  3. You could try to contact the support staff of our payment partner Verifone (2Checkout). The shop looks the same, but you will be directed to Verifone (2Checkout) after the checkout page. Verifone (2Checkout) has a 24/7 hotline where you can talk to payment processing staff about your specific payment problem. If your payment is accepted, we'll process your order.

  4. You can pay us using bank wire. This requires you to electronically transfer the money to our European bank account. This process can take 2-5 business days however. If you are interested in this option, just let us know and we'll provide you with the bank wire info you need. This payment method requires you to contact your bank yourself to start the payment (this is not a direct debit)
