I hear a random piano playing in FL Studio

Solution

If you hear a random piano sound in FL Studio and have no idea where it's coming from, you've likely enabled an unnecessary Output device in MIDI Settings.

Go to "Options > MIDI Settings".
Make sure the 'Microsoft MIDI Mapper' or 'Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth' devices aren't assigned to a port #.

If you require these devices be enabled make sure that their port # doesn't conflict with any output port assignments within your FL Studio project, generally MIDI Out instances.
