If parameters are changing on their own it's possible that you have recorded Automation or active Initialized controls.
Initialized Controls
In the Browser navigate to "Current Project > Patterns > Initialized controls" then right-click and delete any unwanted Initialized controls.
Automation
In the Browser navigate to "Current Project > Patterns" and look through the Patterns to see if any of them have unwanted recorded Automation, if they do you can select the Event to open it in the Event Editor then go to "Event Editor options > Edit > Delete" to delete the recorded Events.
NOTE: If issues with initialized controls occur frequently you can correct this by going to "Options > General Settings > Advanced" and selecting 'Don't initialize controls automatically'. If you happen to be recording unwanted Automation right-click the Record button in the Toolbar and deselect 'Automation'.
