Solution

If you've accidentally removed or deleted the '(none)' entry in the Mixer FX menu, replace it as follows:

  1. Using Windows File Explorer navigate to the following location in your FL Studio installation folder "...\FL Studio [version*]\Data\System\Plugin databases\Plugin database (alphabetical)\Effects". (Note: If the 'System' folder isn't present you must set the File Explorer to show hidden files.)
  2. Copy the 3 topmost files labeled "(none)".
  3. Navigate to "...\FL Studio [version]\Data\Patches\Plugin database\Effects"
  4. Paste the files copied in the second step.

Launch FL Studio, the '(none)' entry should now be present in your "Plugin database > Effects" folder as well as the Mixer FX slots.

* Note: [version] above is the version number of FL Studio you are using. E.g. ...\FL Studio 12\Data\System\Plugin databases\Plugin database (alphabetical)\Effects
