Projects created in FL Studio for Windows and macOS / OS X are identical and will work across both platforms.
Simply copy the .FLP or .ZIP project file to the other OS/machine and open it within FL Studio as normal.
Some things to note:
- FL Studio version number - You can open a lower version project in a higher version, but going the other way is not possible. For example, loading a FL Studio 11 project in FL Studio 20 will work but not FL Studio 20 in 11, or even FL Studio 20.1 in 20.0.
- Edition considerations (Fruity, Producer, Signature etc) - While you can open a higher edition project in a lower edition and save the project again. You may not be able to re-open the re-saved project in the lower edition of FL Studio, until it has been opened in the higher edition and re-saved. This is similar to any Trial feature. The lower edition behaves as if the higher edition features are in Trial mode.
- 3rd party plugins - Use the VST plugin format only. AU plugins will not load on Windows and their VST equivalents will not be automatically found.
