Recovering Plugin Presets

You may encounter issues with plugin presets missing for some of your Image-Line plugins. Certain Image-Line plugins use proprietary preset formats that are stored outside the FL Studio installation folder.

This is applicable to Bassdrum, DirectWave, Drumaxx, GMS, Hardcore, MiniSynth, Morphine, Poizone, Sakura, Sawer, and Toxic Biohazard.

Presets for these plugins will be located under '...\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Image-Line\', each plugin has a dedicated preset folder. To access these presets from a respective plugin, the registry must point to the Shared Data folder where the presets are stored.

1. Use Windows File Explorer and navigate to 'C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Image-Line\'. Confirm that your plugin presets are present.
2. Launch FL Studio.
3. Select 'Options > File Settings'.
4. Set your Shared Data folder to '...\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Image-Line\'.

Restart FL Studio and your presets should now be available within their respective plugins.

Note: If FL Studio was already set to the correct Shared Data directory, but the presets still aren't available within your plugins, continue below:

5. Change the location Shared Data directory to any other folder.

6. Restart FL Studio.

7. Set the Shared Data folder to 'C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\Image-Line\' again.

8. Restart FL Studio, confirm that your plugins presets are available within their respective plugins.
