Image-Line software: Step-by-Step Installation Guide

In this Step-by-Step guide, we will show you how to download, install and register the Image-Line software products (FL Studio, plug-ins, Deckadance). Click here for EZGenerator installation instructions.

Installation and registration files can be downloaded from your 'my account' page. Go to your 'my account' page here.

The process is simple and can be summarised as:

1. Install the FL Studio demo program.
2. Install a single unlocking registration file that converts the demo into the edition you purchased.

D1. E-mail?	D2. Connect to internet	D3. Sign in
After you have ordered, you will receive a Sign in notification email with a link to the 'support ticket' message that gives more information about accessing your purchased software. (click image to enlarge)	Make sure you are connected to the Internet and click here to go to your 'my acocunt' page.	Enter your Sign in email & Password The Sign in email is the same email address you used in our shop when ordering. Use copy & paste to ensure it's 100% identical to the Login notification email you received from us. (click image to enlarge) Use the "Forgot your password?" option to receive it again if necessary. Enter the email address you used in your order at our web shop.

You are now on your 'my account' page. All your program downloads are available from here. On the lower-right of the page under 'my licenses' you will see the programs you have registered. (click image to enlarge) Click the program name (in blue) to open its download and registration instructions box. (click image to enlarge) Use the installer download link in the box to start downloading the programs demo installer file from the one of our Hosting Partners. Some programs have multiple download locations available. Choose your preferred download server from the list. If the downloaded file appears to be corrupt please delete the downloaded file, choose a new download location and re-download. Why do I download and install the demo version? Read it here. Why is there a difference in size between the downloaded files Mb size and the size in bytes advertised on the download page?	Install the downloaded program installer file on your PC the installer appearance will vary for each program. The below image represents the FL Studio installer. (click image to enlarge) If you have problems downloading from one of our Hosting Partners, please check if you are running an AD or POP-UP blocker software.

EZGenerator and Mac OSX program users can skipp this step. Extra info see text below. On the lower-right of the page under 'my licenses' click the image... This link will initiate a download of a file called 'FLRegKey.Reg' this is a Windows Registry file that will unlock all your Image-Line Software. Download the file and follow the instructions below the image above. There is also a text link 'register' available as alternative to the image. For EZGenerator, FL Studio box version and for Mac OSX compatible programs, a separate registration procedure is available. Check here for: - EZGenerator instructions - Mac user instructions In Internet Explorer, you may see a yellow bar on top of the screen when you click the image/registration. Select 'Download file'. Than click the image/registration link again. If you download a .PHP file, you're downloading the page. Make sure you download the .REG unlocking registration file. Try an other download option (right click menu), or use Firefox to click the 'registration file' image. If you experience problems with the file streaming/download here, you might be running an AD or POP-UP blocker software (eg. security software). Disable them temporarily.	Install the FLRegKey.Reg file. !! Don't skip this step !! In order to unlock you program you need to install the unlocking registration file on your pc. The remaining steps (step 7-9) give you access to our registered users only page from the website.	If the option 'Open' does not work, please try the option 'Save' to save your FLRegKey.reg to your hard disk. Make sure to click the 'regcode' link with your left mouse button. The file download will start automatically. Check if the 'name' of the file you download is exactly 'flregkey.reg'. If you see an other ending or name, restart. (click image to enlarge) Now, open your Windows Explorer and double click the FLRegKey.reg file you saved on your hard disc. Allow the info to be written to your PC registry. This method can be used if your Music PC is not connected to the Internet. Copy the FL Installer & this FlRegKey.reg to your music PC and then double-click on it. If you download a .PHP file, you're downloading the page. Make sure you download the .REG unlocking registration file. Try an other download option (right click menu), or use Firefox to click the 'registration file' image.
D10. How to ??
1. EZGenerator registration. The EZGenerator download and installation is the same as in step D1 to D6. The EZGenerator registration is different from other Image-Line products in 2 ways. - EZGenerator trial programs can not be unlocked to full version programs. - You use a serial number to register EZGenerator, not a file. -> Your EZGenerator serial number is available in under 'my licenses'. Find the serial number at the bottom of the instructions box that opens when you click the blue EZGenerator link under 'my licenses'. 1. Get access to the video tutorials? Make sure to be loged in to your 'my account' page (Step D3). From your 'my account' page you can access the registered users only pages. Use the menu on top of the 'my account' page to navigate to registered users only pages like the video tutorials, the forum or the support ticketing system. 2. Where to find my FL Studio plug-in installer download? If you buy a new plugin (e.g. WASP, SimSynth Live, SoundFont Player, DX10, Beatslicer or DrumSynth Live), you'll need to download a new registration key file on your 'my account' page. This new key file will 'unlock' your new plugin(s). 3. Registration instructions for MAC users: If you have a Macintosh and buy MAC OSX compatible software, please follow the specific "Mac users" registration instructions in the second part of the programs instructions box. Click the link to get access to the MAC OSX registration file. FL Studio has no OSX compatible version. If you want to run FL Studio on your MAC, make sure to run Windows using bootcamp. 4. Why do I need to confirm my e-mail? To verify your registration, and to make sure you receive our messages, the server asks you to confirm your email address. You are asked to confirm your email address by clicking a link in an email send to you by our server. Due to heavy Spam, a lot of people have configured their email software to avoid unwanted email. Depending on those settings, it may refuse our emails. So, if you are not receiving our emails, please check your email spam settings and add our image-line.com domain to the list of trusted domains. You can sign in to the 'my account' page without a confirmed email address. Find a link on the 'my account' page to resend this confirmation link. Still having problems?
